Sources for 50AE ammo?

Does anyone have cuurent prices on what's available as far as 50 AE ammo? Have checked some websites but not much luck. BTW I live in southern Arizona but looking at mail order also...

I've found that now that my D E functions properly( not missfeeding, not jamming, failing to return to battery etc.) I use much more ammo. The old way with all the problems I would quickly become annoyed and quit shooting thus using less ammo. I do prefer that it works well now but the costs to play are mounting. I guess it's time to consider reloading.

Whats a .50AE with these days?

Just wondering what it's worth?

Black Oxide, 6" with Hogue grips. Less than 40 rounds and I'm guessing about ~99% condition. Only flaw is a mar on the slide from where the safety leaves a mark when you engage and disengage it. Comes complete with one mag, factory hard case, owners manual, some stickers, multi-tool, and the factory fired shell.

I'm looking to get a DE in 50AE. Mostly to be used for fun/plinking, maybe some hunting later. Whaich barrel should I buy 10 inch? 6 inch? or both (if I can afford it)?

I work with a guy who has a 10mm glock he says he shoots .40s in it seems like way to much difference to me.
this is funny because I know another guy who has a .45acp and shoots it and .45gl in it.
are these glocks really that good, I know for a fact the little .40s won't handle 10mm as they are not even rated for buffalo bore ammoand would be totally uncontrollable. "barrel not fully supported"
I got rid of mine or I would figure this out the old fashioned way....

I recently sent my Desert Eagle back to Magnum Research for warrantee repair. I listed the issues I've been having, the slide would not stay locked back without the magazine, the saftey became loose with every outing, my issues in trying to find ammo it liked. etc. Anyways it came back today I guess just short of 3 weeks. Titanium Gold or Polished Hard Chrome?

I'm trying to decide on which finish to get. I know hard chrome is said to be very durable, but what about the titanium gold? I almost hate having so many finish choices from Magnum Research just because I can't make up my mind! I was thinking along the lines of either a Titanium Gold or Hard Chrome .50 with a Black Chrome slide. Thoughts? Adam

Desert Eagle Magazine Lips?

I am having problems with my Desert Eagle feeding poorly whenever I pull back the slide to load a shell, or even push the lever to rack it. I pull the slide back, release, and very often the bullet wedges upright stuck between the bolt and the chamber. I have heard of bent magazine lips causing this sort of thing, is that possible in this case? This is getting pretty aggrevating - so help is much appreciated! I can post any pictures of the magazine or gun if nescessary....

A little while ago I took out the .50 Eagle again for some range fun. This time I used the Magna-ported 10" barrel. This setup was awesome! Not only was there practically no muzzle flip (recoil was a softer, straight back force - almost TOO pleasant), but shooting this combo gave me NO ejected shells in the face! I recently got 2 new Desert Eagles. I would attach a picture, but the "Insert Image" button doesn't do anything when I click it, and I can't seem to drag-and-drop a picture.

The first is a brushed chrome DE in .44 Mag. At first I put a 2X Nikon handgun scope on it. It managed to catch an ejected case between the back of the scope and the slide. So I replaced it with a 30mm Ultradot on Warne rings (the rings that came with the scope were too low). It works good...

What do I have here.... ?

muzzle brake or magna port?

Okay I've read the posting and some info available online. Magna port will quad port for $125.00 + shipping etc. and Magnum Research charges $199.00+ for the muzzle brake. What would be the pro's and con's for either system?
